The purpose of this section is to outline various command procedures & policies within The Galactic Empire... The Command Procedures documents are not "all inclusive", but set down basic command policies, which apply anywhere in the Empire. Its notes are geared specifically toward commanding officers of the GE, and cover diverse topics.

Many procedures set forth herein build upon policies contained in the GE's Imperial Charter, and should be reviewed after the other documents of Imperial Law...

The original contents of this section were first put into print on 2001-12-15 under the guise of the Command Codex: a document later consolidated into this Imperial Officer's Manual.
