Empire Reborn Imperial Officers' Manual

Deprecated Awards were once mainstream within the Galactic Empire, but have been "phased out" (most often, made obsolete by newer medal developments). Deprecated awards have been officially removed from mainstream usage and awarding, but reference to them may still remain in older or archival Imperial documents. Officers who were awarded these medals may continue to wear them, or they may have been replaced by the medal's successor.

Imperial Flying Cross (IFC)
The Imperial Flying Cross entered deprecation on 2001-11-03, and was replaced by the Imperial Combat Cross.

Medal of Longstanding Service (MoLS)
This former name for the Long Service Medal (LSM) entered deprecation on 2001-11-03. The medal itself remains in mainstream usage.
