The Galactic Empire Combat Ladders are a consistently-operational multiplayer facility that enables officers to hone their live combat skills at their own convenience... It may be accessed as part of the GE Combat Centre.

At the Ladders, Imperial officers sign up to test their skills against other officers in their Division, competing for distinction in combat... Ladder victories are tallied, and at the discretion of the Division Commanders responsible for their supervision, medal awards are often bestowed upon the highest-placing officers in each.

Note that due to the tendency of rules to change from one set to the next, all procedures & policies regarding the GE Combat Ladders are documented alongside them on the Empire Reborn domain.
