Officer Stationing
When Cadets or other applicants have met the
training requirements necessary to be stationed into a Division as a full
officer of the Empire, the sole general policy regarding their stationing is
that it be done with the intention of maintaining a balanced roster, giving the
unit with the most vacancies priority for receiving new recruits.Also --
although Imperial citizens and Cadets are never directly asked to supply a
preferred unit for their stationing -- some take the initiative to do so...
It is recommended that such requests typically be honoured. However, the
ability to make them is regarded by the Empire as a privilege, not a right. It
is true that granting an officer their choice of unit will often foster
morale and activity... But if any unit is in critical or emergency need of
officers, the good of the Empire takes precedence, and that unit should receive
the next available officers as quickly as possible to remove it from danger.
