Position Description

The Captain of the Royal Guard (RG-CPT) commands, coordinates, and supervises all daily operations of the Imperial Royal Guard, under the overall direction of the Commander of the Army and Supreme Commander.

Due to the unique nature and scale of his duties, the Captain of the Guard Holds the rank of Major (MAJ) on appointment and may be promoted up to Colonel (COL). The RG-CPT is the only unit commander in the army recognized as a member of Army High Command (see: Positions).
