Imperial Army: Ranks: Corporal

Successful Lance Corporals are often promoted to the rank of Corporal (CPL). At this point, the newly-promoted Corporal joins the ranks of the Imperial Army's Non-Commissioned Officers. At this rank, a trooper has clearly shown his or her dedication to the Imperial Army and has been a positive contributor to his or her unit.

Although notably superior to Private First Class and Lance Corporal, a Corporal's direct command authority is limited.
