--Aurek Bridge Crew Status Report #1--

--General Announcements--
The GE Reborn's Support ships (the frigates) have been set to inactive. All FRG crews have been reorganized into three Star Destroyer Bridge Crews, Aurek crew, Forn crew, and Zerek crew. We, as the title implies, are Aurek crew. Aurek and Forn crews are both stationed aboard the ISD Chimaera, while Zerek is stationed on the ISD Nemesis. LT Antillies is urrently on a LOA until tomorrow, wich is why I'm writing the first Aurek report.
--Aurek Orders--
Due to the reorganization, I see unfamiliar faces. In order for us to all get acquanted, I would like everyone on Aurek crew to send me an e-mail to show they're active. I also want to see at least some of you on IRC every now and then, and I of course want to see ALL of you participate in our combat ladders, ICTE (Inter-Club Training Event; every Saturday), or both (and especially Outer Sectors II!). But, possibly most crucial, we need a new banner for our bridge crew! I want those interested in designing our banner to inform of such in their report e-mail. Keep in mind that the person with the best banner may get a medal.

I am pleased to see that our Academy EaW cadets are active. I sent an email out to all of them trying to encourage them to speed along their screen shot submissions. I got a hand full of responses back with questions, each of which I addressed and I think I helped most of them. Hopefully we will get some new additions to the crew soon.

Chapter 8 of OS:II has been released. Please note that due to computer problems, CD Mar was unable to upload the EaW mission. FA Fel sent an email out explaining what to do, but if you do not receive that email, "Any one EaW mission in the combat chamber will count as "Assigned" for this chapter" and "After the first one, everything counts as normal."

I am pleased to announce that we have a new addition to Aurek Bridge Crew, EN Val "Torence" Lendar. Please welcome him aboard.
Also, because I did not include EN Lendar in my last report (don't know why), I forgot to put that he did participate in ICTE (4/12/08).
While I was perusing the GE site, I came upon two interesting charts: the hall of Expert Combatants and Elite Pilots of the Empire. I am pleased to say that I am ranked 30th in Expert Combatants and tied for 10th in Elite Pilots. SL Fewrfreyut was also in Expert Combatants but it appears that his high score was beaten soon after I viewed the list.

I am pleased to say that we have two new members to our humble bridge crew. They are Sub-Lieutenant Falcon and Ensign Bane. SL Falcon is now my second-in-command. Please welcome them aboard.
Also, EN Lendar, due to real life obligations and limitations, has decided to take his turn toward the reserves. It is always sad when a perspective officer can no longer be with us and I hope this does not become a trend.

GE Meeting #39 took place. Thanks to all who attended. If you were unable to make it, please review the notes here: viewtopic.php?p=24874#24874.
Announced at the meeting was a shift in Academy leadership. VA Zwibble has become extremely in RL and has not been able to perform her duties completely and FA Fel is "currently looking to resolve [the] situation". More news on that when things progress.
Just out of habit, I tend to look at the Academy's EaW roster on occasion and happened to notice a leap from 16 cadets to 26 and then, just today, it was 31. I am extremely pleased to see this dramatic increase. I do not know if we can attribute this rise to the recruitment YouTube video (http://youtube.com/watch?v=2o5rHMcH0lQ) produced by ALT Nickoli and 2LT Felth, but regardless, I am pleased to see more cadets.
