<FA_Fel> As you no doubt have read during the last month, Junon was promoted to be our new Commandant, at the rank of Commodore. If you have outstanding Academy duties to be taken care of, please be sure to turn them in.

<FA_Fel> The Spring Ladders are concluded - and the results will be announced shortly. As soon as that is taken care of, the ladders will be opened for the summer session!

<FA_Fel> As you have recently read in your inboxes, the GE newsletter #10 has been released - and is now available for download. This is completed largely thanks to the efforts of Ensign Khadgar, and he has received a Bronze Seal for his efforts.

If you downloaded immediately after release and noticed the lack of Elite Pilots listing as well as Awards/Promotions, please redownload the newsletter to see the missing material. <VA_JagFel> Our cover's been blown, and we're still not sure of the reception how both sides will take it (although the Rebels probably won't like it). You can bet on a backlash against us, so prepare yourselves!

<VA_JagFel> 4. CL Junon leaves for the Academy
<VA_JagFel> As FA Fel has already stated, CL Junon has taken over the Academy and been promoted to Commodore and Commandant. The backlog of exams and Combat Certifications should be clear, but if there is something missing please don't hesitate to resend it.

<VA_JagFel> - Work is progressing on the Briefing interface for YOGEME, the display will match TIE as close as possible so you'll know what it looks like *before* entering the game.
<VA_JagFel> Currently about half of the instructions display properly, once that is finished I'll be working on methods to actually edit the briefing.
<VA_JagFel> - I was lucky enough to find a program that was created intended for Dark Forces regarding cutscenes. The documentation had information which confirmed the research I had been doing lately, as well as filling in some gaps.
<VA_JagFel> Eventually, I intend to have a program that will let you change concourses, cutscenes, etc. That's still a long way away however, YOGEME comes first.

This competition, which is destined to measure and to reward the level of activity of the members of the Imperial Army will have basically the same structure as the previous Annual Reviews, by what we invite the members of our division to be prepared and to take part in all the events of this traditional competition.

<CD_Mike_Mar> I still have 2 Scimitar Fighters free for pilots who think they would deserve a shot at Scimitar. You can fight with us vs
<CD_Mike_Mar> the RS and get a ticket for a Regular Scimitar Position. But not everyone will have a chance to pilot one of those 2

<CD_Mike_Mar> *Scimitar Tryouts are PERMANENT. Which means you can Challenge any Scimitar Pilots to ladder battles, ICTE battles or plain
