[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> 1. As most of you are aware by now, Lieutenant Solidis of Gimel Squadron has
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> taken leave of the Nemesis for the time being due to personal concerns. In
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> his place I have appointed Lieutenant Mar, a long time member of Gimel
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> Squadron. Lt Mar has shown a lot of promise over these last few years and I
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> am happy to finally give him the chance to command a squadron of his own.

[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> 2. I would also like to announce the promotion of Ensign First Class Eddard
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> Stark to the rank pf Sub-Lieutenant. SL Stark will be taking over the vacant
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> Gimel Flight Leader position previously held by Lieutenant Mar. Mr Stark is
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> another promising officer that I am very glad to see in a senior position.
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> -
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> 3. Preliminary work on the Nemesis Website is complete. Now that the basic
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> frame has been created all that remains is to spruce it up a bit with a few
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> images, then upload it to the web. I'll be speaking to Admiral Polanski next
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> week regarding the possibility of hosting the site on the EmpireReborn.net
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> domain, so that leaves plenty of time for anyone interested to send in a few
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> new Nemesis banners and logos. This site will be pretty primitive at first,
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> however I plan to upgrade it with php and flash graphics over the next few
[12:26] <GEN_Jansen> months.

[12:27] <GEN_Jansen> 4. Everyone please give a warm welcome to the newest member of the Nemesis's
[12:27] <GEN_Jansen> crew, Ensign Ruhr, who is currently assigned to Gimel Squadron in the 3-2
[12:27] <GEN_Jansen> position. Mr Ruhr is a recent Academy graduate, and I encourage everyone to
[12:27] <GEN_Jansen> welcome him and help him find his away around.

[12:27] <GEN_Jansen> 1) Lieutenant Phantom is running some trivia onboard the ship. I expect to see the results of the competition soon enough, and we'll soon find out who knows the most random Star Wars trivia onboard.

[12:28] <GEN_Jansen> 2) Lieutenant Commander Muscat is looking into the "New Horizons" XWA editor, and will soon have results for us regarding it's usability. He's also in the process of creating a Star Wars video from various Navy platforms, complete with full soundtrack. Colonel Fel of the Army has created a great deal of medal and ribbon images, and the Officer's Manual has recieved some updates. [12:31] <COL_JagFel> The Officer's Manual has also been cleaned up and updated, to reflect the Fleet Admiral's position of SC, and as well as the cleaning of some Wikki errors

The attendance during this meeting was excellent, by the way. We had close to 12-13 people in the #empire_reborn channel (including one cadet, one prospective member, and a few ensigns), and something like 16 in #galactic_empire. If we keep this up, we'll have #galactic_empire re-registered soon enough.

Out of habit I would prefer to keep our previous meeting schedulel; Saturdays at 12:00 CST (or in my case 10:00 PST) on the 1st and 3rd weekends of every month. However I wouldn't mind moving it to Sundays if it would encourage more participation. Perhaps we should have a poll as to when the best hours are for the greatest amount of people.

Whether it is on Saturday or Sunday I'll be at next weeks meeting.

Whoa - what is it with people putting banners into their signatures lately? Has this become some sort of company policy? Don't you think they make signatures look, you know, over-inflated?

No reason why people can't but it might be nicer if they were smaller somewhat... we'll see how it goes.

Syrt: I've seen people make their sigs one large banner, and nothing else. It's extremely annoying when you're trying to get name, email address, etc, but it the General's case, I think it's okay.

Yeah, as long as it doesn't spread to everyone, it doesn't bug me.
