- Army Update! (GEN Jansen) It has been decided to add an additional 2 slots to company's. This will increase the trooper count to 10. Doing so will give more room for new members vs them going into a new Company that lacks a CO.
- GE Meeting - October 7, 2006! (AD Fel) After a long break in meetings, we will resume our regular meeting schedule in the month of October - first Saturday of each month. That means our next meeting is Saturday October 7! As per usual, the meeting will take place at 18:00 BST ( 1:00 PM Eastern Time, 12:00 Noon Central Time), in IRC channel #galactic_empire on Undernet.
- Fall Ladders Open! (AD Fel) As of today, the ladders for Fall 2006 are now open! Hot on the heels of an exciting Summer session, the fall session features two new ladders
for you to play! You can view them and sign up at http://www.empirereborn.net/ladders.php .
The first is Star Wars: Battlefront II, and the second is Empire at War Campaign. Though the BFII ladder is straightforward, the EaW Campaign one records winning one campaign as a victory, but that victory is worth *Ten* towards your combat rating! It should be noted now that regular
EaW ladder matches must be single engagements, rather than part of any campaign... For full details, please review the rules - and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. This set of ladders will run until December 31, 2006.
- Empire at War Map Creation Challenge! (AD Fel)Following the release some months ago of the Empire at War Map Editor from Lucasarts/Petroglyph, it is now high time to announce a competition
for the creation of a high quality mission...!
The rules of this challenge are simple: Be the first to turn in a high-quality Empire at War mission to VA Jagged Fel. If you do so, you will receive not only the Medal of Tactics afforded to all mission creators, but you will also be the first to create an Empire at War single-player scenario for the combat chamber. And, of course, you will be rewarded with a medal for your initiative... You will receive a Bronze Seal!
- Raider XO Open for Applications! (MAJ Munro Burton) I am opening the position of Raider XO to applications. Anybody that feels that they can do the job are invited to apply. Please send your applications to myself (MAJ Munro Burton) and CC both Lieutenant Colonel Foley and Major Longstreet. You have until Saturday 8th of October.
- MAJ James Longstreet will be in LoA from 27 of September until October 06.
News of the Royal Guard (MAJ Munro Burton)
Aside from the last Guard Games, there isn't much to report - just the promotion of Guardsman Jagged Fel to the Second Echelon and the induction of Hel-Pa Sklib as a Tyro. Congrulations and welcome!

The Imperial Army consists at the moment of 02 Brigades with 08 Companies and 52 officers on the rosters.

Note: Little activity at level of FPRs and Examinations of the Academy. (Nevertheless they are more than the Second Brigade). The biggest this activity, again, in the (Excellent) Ladders. The communication between the members of the Brigade has been acceptable for this month. My congratulations (again) to the MAJ Munro Burton. His efforts to reactivate to Raider are giving his fruits..

Note: My congratulations to PFC Wyrst for his efforts in completing BCCs and Examinations of the Academy. This is an example of the good level of activity of the company Demon, for what in this opportunity his performance managed to come at the level of Medium (Excellent). Good level of ACP Bane and CPL Sklib. As for the 2nd Brigade, I lacked a Report that indicates me the Status of all the companies. (I hope to see a report of the Second Brigade in the next days).
(*)The level of activity is based on the reports of the companies and on what I could have observed. To do this more exact index, the reports of CO must be more detailed (or more frequent).

Summer ladder results and awards
Greetings officers of the Empire!
It is my pleasure to issue medals to those who recently excelled in the summer ladders. Activity was seen on three of the ladders, although I would have hoped to have seen more on the others. Nevertheless, there was a tremendous amount of games played - more than even before. Special notice should be made in the Jedi Outcast ladders, where the number of games played was over 600. The results are displayed below.

1st place - Major Burton with 405 points (55 games, 42 wins) awarded IVC-BW
2nd place - Sub-Lieutenant Che with 340 points (50 games, 36 wins) awarded IVC-BW

COMMENT/ORDERS
In this month of September they finished several competitions, both of Single and of Multiplayer, in which several medals were delivered, also. A few out-standing officials gained several of these medals. My congratulations for them. They are an example for the whole Imperial Army and the GE in general.
Now there has begun a new edition of the Ladders, which term is December 31, 2006. Go to this direction http://www.empirereborn.net/ladders.php and register.
Also, "in some moment" a brief competition will begin for the platform Galactic Battleground (Single Player). Be attentive to the details, and take part.
This is quite for the time being. Support communication with his partners and commanders, visit our MB, take part in the competences and if they have time, also takes part in the GE Meeting of October 07.
