Fall Ladders Open!

Post by Fel »

Officers of the Empire:

As of today, the ladders for Fall 2006 are now open! Hot on the heels of an exciting Summer session, the fall session features two new ladders for you to play! You can view them and sign up at http://www.empirereborn.net/ladders.php .

The first is Star Wars: Battlefront II, and the second is Empire at War Campaign. Though the BFII ladder is straightforward, the EaW Campaign one records winning one campaign as a victory, but that victory is worth *Ten* towards your combat rating! It should be noted now that regular EaW ladder matches must be single engagements, rather than part of any campaign... For full details, please review the rules - and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

This set of ladders will run until 31 December 2006 - giving you lots of time to rack up those wins. Sign up today and get a good head start! Bear in mind that if you did not play in the summer session of the ladders, at the start of that session there was a fairly significant rule change, so it is advisable to educate yourself on the new rules if you have not already. :-)

You will shortly be receiving an e-mail regarding the status of the summer ladders, and the medal awards...

Best of luck to all participants! :-)

Here is the email regarding the results.

Greetings officers of the Empire!

It is my pleasure to issue medals to those who recently excelled in the summer ladders. Activity was seen on three of the ladders, although I would have hoped to have seen more on the others. Nevertheless, there was a tremendous amount of games played - more than even before. Special notice should be made in the Jedi Outcast ladders, where the number of games played was over 600. The results are displayed below.

Empire at war
1st place - Major Burton with 405 points (55 games, 42 wins) awarded IVC-BW
2nd place - Sub-Lieutenant Che with 340 points (50 games, 36 wins) awarded IVC-BW
3rd place - PFC Wyrst with 199 points (42 games, 11 wins) awarded MoM

Jedi Outcast
1st place - Major Burton with 1788 points (333 games, 257 wins) awarded IVC-GL
2nd place - Corporal Sklib with 1757 points (276 games, 168 wins) awarded IVC-GL
3rd Place - Army Captain Bane with 1035 points (236 games, 90 wins) awarded IVC-SL

Jedi Academy (no medal awards)
1st place - Major Burton with 189 points (40 games, 40 wins)
2nd place - PFC Wyrst with 18 points (18 games, 0 wins)
3rd place - PFC Ganack with 11 points (11 games, 0 wins)

In the next season running until December 31st, see if you can beat Major Burton!

Good luck to all and thanks for playing!
