[12:16] <FA_Pol> On another note, a piece of slightly older news, is that the new Commandant has been chosen. Commodore Zwibble has been doing a fine job so far, with more and more cadets entering, and more importantly, exiting the academy via graduation. We have some annoucements from her later on this meeting.

[12:17] <FA_Pol> A side note: rumours of the Empire At War platform being supported in the future are true. It has yet to be

[12:17] <FA_Pol> The campaign continues to go well. After the losses several chapters ago, I am happy to announce the recomissioning of the VSD Vigilant back into active service. Works to repair the ISD Chimaera are progressing slightly ahead of schedule, although things are not ready for recomissioning as yet. [12:17] <FA_Pol> #5. Academy Awards, Advanced Combat Certifications!
[12:18] <FA_Pol> The High Command has been in discussion for a long while now over two topics. The Academy awards system has been devised to reward those who do well in their academy examinations. With more exams coming online, this means that we want to be to recognise achievement. The system will work similar to the Imperial Star does for external competition events.
[12:18] <FA_Pol> A Bronze bar will be awarded for 85%+ score or above; a silver for 90%+, gold for 95%+ and platinum for 100%. Obviously only one bar can be awarded for each exam (the highest). Pins and stripes will be used to mark progress in medals in the ID Line. Formal annoucements and descriptions will appear shortly on the website.
[12:19] <FA_Pol> Another invention is the Advanced Combat Certification (ACC). These are to recognise achievement in platforms. Each one is tied to the single player campaign(s) in the game - generally completion of the campaign will be sufficient for the award. These will be looked highly upon when time for promotion comes along... use them to your advantage. Again further details will be available shortly.

[12:42] <CP_Vortagh> Other than that, I can only state that I have been very busy lately - Eventhough much of it was "Real Life" stuff, there were also a nice number of GE:ER duties. I am currently picking up most of my remaining jobs.
[12:42] <CP_Vortagh> Expect to see a new feature on IS.Net soon: All downloads, FAQs and Manuals/How To's will be hosted directly there, to make sure they do not get lost.
