[18:14] <FA_Polanski> #1. Fleet news!
[18:15] <FA_Polanski> Official Rosters currently stand at 86 active Imperials, with an overall membership count of 502 officers. There are 28 listed cadets, making a total of 58 full Imperials.
[18:15] <FA_Polanski> The number of active Imperials continues to fall, which is becoming a worrying issue, although this is exaggerated this week due to removal of old cadets. We need extra members quickly, and soon. I make a plea to put extra force into a recruitment effort...
[18:15] <FA_Polanski> In order to speed up recruitment, we have introduced the facilty for applicants to attach the necessary material for graduation to the join form; this is an "Express Graduation" route that I hope will ensure people are addded to rosters quicker and thus remain active for longer. Anyone with suggests on Cadets please email myself and Admiral Orzon - all suggestions are welcome.

[18:16] <FA_Polanski> It is with great regret that I am announcing bad news in our campaign... The ISD Chimaera is heavily damaged and has needed to be rescued but the ship is damaged so much that it will need to be repaired over a period of time. Thus, the ISD Chimaera is being removed from active duty until she is fixed.

[18:18] <FA_Polanski> In the meanwhile, the ISD Nemesis will be the acting Flagship and squadrons will be transferred to the ISD Nemesis and it is likely that the VSD Vigilant will be returned to active service to cover our ground whilst we are down in fleet capacity. It was a close battle, and the result could have been worse and the ISD Chimaera destroyed. We have been lucky, but I expect this incident not to be repeated in the future...
[18:19] <FA_Polanski> However it is not all bad news... the ship yard has been destroyed at Contruum.... but at the cost. This is a severe setback for the Rebels - the map of known activity will change very shortly.
[18:20] <FA_Polanski> I am highly disappointed to say that the required update for the scores is not available right now due to the unknown location of Admiral Fel (who tallies the mission based scores) but I believe the non-mission based entries are up to date. The scores will be updated very shortly and an email issued with these in. Please bear with us...

[18:21] <FA_Polanski> Thanks to the dedicated work of Lt Branet, we now have an online at http://empirereborn.net/files/manual/erom1_50.zip in complied HTML format. A non-chm format is available in the archives as before. For his efforts, LT Branet has been awared the coveted Silver Seal - my thanks on behalf of the Empire for his services!

[18:24] <FA_Polanski> As a side note, CM La Forge has included the GE Campaign room onto the site; never opened with the old Empire, this is now available at http://www.empirereborn.net/campaign.php and contains full details of the current OuterSectors campaign. I hope that in the future we can run others with positive effects for all.
[18:24] <FA_Polanski> #6. IRC Webchat
[18:24] <FA_Polanski> The Webchat that was present on the old Nexus has been returned on the bottom of the IRC page... This is useful for those who cannot install or do not have mIRC installed; the direct link is http://www.empirereborn.net/docs.php?page=irc#Webchat. I hope this will encourage more people to turn up to meetings and encourage them to come onto IRC more often in general.

[18:26] <FA_Polanski> #7. Combat Resources
[18:26] <FA_Polanski> Again due to no large amount of activty on the ladders no medals will be awarded. It is disapointing to see people sign up but not to issue challenges... this is the point of signing up. I hope that we shall see more in the next session, which will run approximately one month.
[18:28] <FA_Polanski> On another issue of Combat, we see the Combat Chamber. Many missions are not up to scratch and Captain Vortagh has been working with the TC Office to increase the standard. To reflect this, several suggestions have been posed to the High Command, and I pleased to announce that at the discretion of the TC, one may achieve "fractional" points towards the Medal of Tactics - these can be gained by fixing briefings or mission errors. This system should come online before the next meeting.
[18:30] <FA_Polanski> Also related to the Combat chamber, is that we shall do a major overhaul of its systems; with changing missions the ability to highscores may also change, and thus on the suggestion of Captain Vortagh, be doing a 6month cycle on these and creating a "Elite Pilots" chart for every 6 month cycle. At the end of each cycle the board will be wiped clean and you are all able to fly again. The exact mechanics have not been worked out for this is details, but if it is not available for the next meeting, you will all be informed of more then.

[18:32] <FA_Polanski> Finally one more quick note that there is a poll located here: viewtopic.php?t=746 regarding interest in Star Wars: Galaxies; please visit and take part. I would like to see the Civil Sector reopened, but this will be no use without members to play SWG... only time will tell.

Leading the 1st Brigade from its formation to current; keeping morale up during troubled times. Supporting the Academy with multiple IRC exams and cadet mentoring. A true asset to the Army and the Empire as a whole!

[18:41] <COL_JagFel> TIE and XvT will hopefully come in the near future after that. Once everything is ready, an IDMR site will be launched, along with some other goodies.
