First TC report.



It is with great pride that I am writing this first TC report. Since my arrival at this Office, I have been spending most of my time learning the basics of different programs to be able to fill my obligations with High Command.

*As of now, my response time in this matter is under 24 hours. And it will stay like this. Exception being, if I am on leave.
*Regarding comments for Reviews. Don't expect many comments from me. I am giving some from time to time, but I prefer to leave this to COs who process them in the first place.

*I encourage every GE:ER member to have a look at it. It is the place where you can ask questions about missions creation and missions testing. It is also a good place to be active. Missions creation and testing is rewarded...

*I am still searching for capable pilots to test and report back missions created by other GE:ER members.

---=== Empire at War

*EaW missions are now created on a regular basis and can be a key element for recruitment. Use this to convince new EAW players to join and win the Medal of Expansion.

*Played TIE,XWA,EAW on numerous occasions
*Created half a dozen EAW missions
*Did a lot of research on EAW scripting
*Reviewed a crazy amount of FPR and ECP
*Tested my new X-52 joystick (I'll give my bill to the Navy :p)
*Refreshed some stuff on IS.net
*Participated in every ICTE event this year
*Strong presence on IRC
*Helping eager Ensigns...

TC report.



Here it is fellows. The second Report from my Office. This to keep you up to date on various progress, new missions and technologies avaible to you for different platforms in our Combat Chamber.

*My response time in this matter is still under 24 hours. And it will stay like this. Exception being, if I am on leave.
*Everytime I come back home, I have new FPRs waiting in my mailbox to be reviewed. I like it.. keep me busy!


---=== Imperial Squadrons Forum (Also the TC Forum)

*Lately, contact with the Imperial Test Pilots Team as been solely made by E-mail. This will change a bit. Sending missions files will still be sent by mail but messages and standard communication will be posted on IS.net (the address follows). Any GE:ER members are welcome to signup on IS.net (and it is free!). My thanks to System Governor Vortagh for hosting it.

*The Team as been quite busy the past month with various tasks. Congrats. I am proud of the choices I've made.


---=== Empire at War

*ERS-211 was uploaded today in the Combat Chamber. This mission includes a New Mod Launcher. This will be REQUIRED to start new EaW missions created after march 30th, 2008.
*The main reason for this Mod, is that your "SCREENSHOTS" will now have the mission names on it. This will be easier for FPR processing.
*Other small changes such as Briefing, names and descriptions have been changed. *** Look for Scimitar Squadron*** :p


---=== TIE,XvT,XWA and GB

*GB mission "Operation Thunder Lion" created by Lieutenant Antillies will be out soon. It is in it's final testing stage.
*The Imperial Test Pilots Team will also work on older missions that have been in queue for Centuries.

*Played TIE,XWA,EAW on numerous occasions
*Created a Mod Launcher for EaW
*Finalized the EaW Master File
*Did a lot of research on EAW scripting (again)
*Reviewed a crazy amount of FPR and ECP (again)
*Participated at ICTE under my Scimitar1 callsign
*Strong presence on IRC
*Played ladder matches

As most of you know, I have experienced some severe PC problems that have now been resolved. My PC as been fixed but I have lost precious data that will take time to recover. Nevertheless, I am now back to my regular level of activity... Extremely High! :p

*I have re-downloaded tools to create EaW missions, but I still need to fix some minor things before creating various missions (OS-II missions creation is resuming now) I have contacted the Supreme Commander on this matter and I will do my best to give you a OS-II Chapter 9 EaW mission.

*Beside having a lot of free time on my hands to do some work around the house... Nothing GE relevant stuff, but everything is getting back on track.

*The TIE platform mission creation and testing as resumed (not counting OS-II missions), as the New ITPT Pilot (EN Khadgar) as knowledge of TIE Mission Creation. Captain Longstreet as recently aquired this game as well and will be supporting in mission testing. VA Jagged Fel and Myself, also can fly TIE Missions.

*I have started the creation of the Scimitar's Training Ground Series. Mission 1 of this series is being uploaded. It will not be story based missions like OS-II, but more the standard type maps. Missions will be tough and the objective is to train yourselves as Scimitars do. The hard way...

*I have received a ton of Star Wars In-Game Screenshots from GE:ER Officers. You still have approx. 1 more week to send more to my Office. The best Screenshots will be rewarded by medals. This competition's success, as of now, encourages me to do it again once this one ends.

TC Office 2008 Review.



Greetings fellow Imperials.

This report is a review of what happened within the Tactical Coordination Department this past year.


---=== FPR and ECP reviewing :

* FPRs --- With The Outer SectorsII : Infiltration competition. A great many FPRs were submitted and reviewed. Combining this with Empire at War as a new platform, I am very sure that this was the most active year in the Combat Chamber in th GE history. Well done everyone!
* ECPs --- With a very good representation at ICTE this past year, many ECP reports were filled and approved by my Office. Keep in mind that 1 ECP report filled and approved give's the Officer who participated in an multiplayer event a medal, the [IS] Imperial Star. http://www.empirereborn.net/erom/medals-service.shtml

* With the adding of EAW missions in the Combat Chamber. We have had more activity on the ImpSquad MBs
* The EAW Combat Chamber now holds 19 missions and the 20th should be uploaded before the next GE:ER meeting. Uploading 20 EAW missions in the CC was one of my priorities and goals for 2008
* GB : LC Antillies did a great job with his GB "Operation Thunder Lion" Series. It is my hope that we will continu adding GB missions in the CC in 2009
* SL Khadgar participated in creating TIE missions
* And of course, High Command members added many various platforms missions for the Outer Sectors II competition. Bringing our Combat Chamber to, a now very respectable, 246 missions.

The test pilots team is composed of GE members willing to test missions created by other members. They test, evaluate and submit reports about the tested missions. They sometimes fix bugs and create missions themselves.

I will put up a new team for 2009. Mainly looking for members who can create and test missions on a regular basis. 2008 Test Pilots are welcome to submit their candidatures again.

* After many weeks thinking about it, I had started the TC Screenshot Competition. The first edition started in May 2008 and was very successfull. A couple of medals were awarded and great pictures were taken. They still can be viewed here : empirereborn.net/holonet/viewtopic.php?t=2405

* Wiped out the Rebel Squadrons Club Elite at the "Reb Squads VS Scimitars" EAW competition
* Hosted 2 Editions of the "TC Screenshots Competition"
* Flown and tested many missions
* Participated in various GE:ER Ladders competitions
* Participated in the OS-II Competition
* Started creating the new Office for Tactical Coordination website but ran into many bugs, got lazy and putted that in my 2009 list to do stuff. :p
