1) Imperial Archives Update!
Recently, a massive cleaning of the Imperial Archives have taken place. All material not relevant to the operations of the GE:ER or taken from
copyrighted sources has been removed. The new guidelines for submission:
- It must be relevant to the GE directly. Specifications of the ships we fly, for example, do not count. However, your own fiction or biography is welcome. The archives are not meant to be a place to put every fact about the SW universe known... only about our Empire.
- It *MUST NOT* be copied from somewhere else! Copyright law is something the organization respects, and we cannot have any copyrighted material in the archives. The laws are clear about copyrights, and the Empire is not going to break them.
As long as you follow these guidelines, there should be no problems!

2) Outer Sectors Recon Mission Completed...
The VSDs Vigilant and Dominance have just returned from a mission to assess enemy forces in the outer sectors... The results are available here: viewtopic.php?t=585.
The actual extent of enemy forces in the area is not completely known... this is just an estimate based on current data. All officers should be on watch for *any* sign of rebel or pirate incursions...

3) Fleet-Wide AWOL Check!
With the outer sectors recon report revealing the presence of the enemy so nearby, it is critical that we have an updated roster.
All officers must report in their ship's captain *and* first officer within the next two weeks, or will be declared AWOL.

4) Navy Tactical Co-Ordinator Announced!

SUBJECT: Navy Tactical Coordinator Position filled!
The first of a few bulletins, I have the pleasure to discuss the position of the Navy Tactical Coordinator:
The Naval Tactical Coordinator position is currently empty, however this is now not the case. In the past, this was an Admiralty position in the Navy, but due to fleet numbers we have reduced this down to a Temporary Duty Assignment. The exact future of the position is undecided at present.
Whilst currently a Naval Officer, this post will actually look after *all* platforms's mission submissions. Please send your completed simulations (please refer to the Officer's Manual curently located in the Databank for requirements) to tactical@empirereborn.net.
It is my pleasure to announce the officer who will fill this position for the current time, this being the leader of Zeta Squadron, a long standing member of the club who has been involved in many different parts of it and has a huge background knowledge. This is infact Lieutenant Commander G. Vortagh.
My congratulations to him and I hope we shall see new missions appearing in the combat chamber in the near future.
