Today is a day I never thought would come. I have served a little over 4 years at the Academy, and 3 of them as Commandant. I started out at the Academy as Lt. Commander and Prefect. When I eventually took over as Commandant, I was promoted to Commodore, in time moving all the way up to Admiral. In my time as Commandant around 900 officers have come and gone through the Academy. Most of today's active Empire has gone through the Academy under my command.
It is hard to do so, but things change. Therefore, I herby relinquish my command of the Imperial Academy and pass it on to my replacement, Rear Admiral Orzon. Former Prefect and the only person I can leave without looking back. Admiral Orzon has the same goals as I had for the Academy. His leadership will only help improve the Academy.
My office is cleaned out and Jacob Junior is loaded up on the shuttle...
