<FA_Fel> The obvious follow-up to the previous announcement is that the Spring ladders are now open! This round of the ladders has already begun, and continues until the end of June.
<FA_Fel> Remember that you need your Basic Combat Certification - available at the Imperial Academy - in order to play in the ladders!

<FA_Fel> Outer Sectors II continues on, with chapter seven just released on Thursday. Keep up the participation!
<FA_Fel> Please remember that if your scores are somehow out of date, you will need to talk to Moff Jansen about them - we have only one person updating the scores, so that things don't get confusing.

<VA_JagFel> 1. Current Navy membership is 40 (-13) Officers, with 29 (+7) Cadets in the Academy.

<VA_JagFel> 2. Navy Reorg
<VA_JagFel> For those that have been living under a rock recently, the Empire at War units have undergone an overhaul.
<VA_JagFel> The Frigates have been decommissioned and the crews formed into Bridge Crews stationed upon the Star Destroyers in the fleet.
<VA_JagFel> We lost quite a few in the move (Transport accidents, AWOLs, etc) but we are at a stronger core now.

<VA_JagFel> 3. OuterSectors II
<VA_JagFel> OuterSectors is in full swing now, and a couple officers have been lost.
<VA_JagFel> Remember that your participation determines the outcome. The less people that participate, the worse the campaign will go.
<VA_JagFel> We need everyone to be active in this for it to be successful. All Navy platforms and GB are supported, and remember that even if you only have something like JO you can always write fiction or make graphics.

<VA_JagFel> - YOGEME update, the Battle interface has been updated so it'll actually work properly.
<VA_JagFel> - The first EaW patch has been uploaded, and CD Mar will talk more about that later.
<VA_JagFel> - There's also been an update for the GEPV, as XWA scoring was missing the bonus score. It will also now process the Rebel XvT missions used in OSII. This should be noted as a required update for anyone who uses the GEPV.

<CD_Mike_Mar> The New EaW Mod launcher is now available! Get it now by downloading the most recent EaW missions from our Combat Chamber. This Mod Launcher will detect any files in the folder named "GEER".
<CD_Mike_Mar> This Mod Launcher make it possible to implement Modifications into EaW without affecting the 'Regular/Original' game. The Mod Launcher (or Modified Game Launcher) detects the files that are located in the "GEER" folder and uses them in priority over the originals. This is only possible in single player mode.
<CD_Mike_Mar> As of now. The Imperial Test Pilots Team with the help of other GE:ER members modified the "Text File" of EaW. Making it possible to add briefings, change names of Heroes, factions and other rather simple stuff. But the most important change is regarding the screenshots that pilots send to their COs for processing. The screenshots *now* have the ERS # and the missions name on it.
<CD_Mike_Mar> I admit that it was confusing to score missions without knowing if it was the "right" one flown... This problem is now solved. As posted in the TC's second report : http://empirereborn.net/holonet/viewtopic.php?t=2321 The TC Mod Launcher is MANDATORY for missions created after march 29, 2008. Failure to use it will make screenshots 'illegal' and they will not be accepted for scoring.
<CD_Mike_Mar> New Mods will soon be available to upload. But "Increased Population Capacity Mod" is now ready!!! I have discussed the matter with VA Jagged Fel and we have agreed to render them available on the IDMR site : http://idmr.empirereborn.net/
