Supreme Commander's Holiday Announcements

Officers of the Empire:

There are a few announcements in the holiday season... :-)

1) Imperial Holiday Awards

It is traditional at this time of year to give "Holiday Awards", an end of the year event in which the Division Commanders give awards to their officers who have earned it over the course of the year... :-)

As that is for Division Commanders to decide, no doubt you will receive their memos soon... :-)

That said, there is one promotion which they cannot conduct... Thus I am proud to announce the promotion of...
RA Zwibble / Commandant / / Imperial Academy

VA Zwibble / Commandant / / Imperial Academy

Congratulations, Vice Admiral! VA Zwibble has earned this promotion through her continual hard work in the Imperial Academy, and it is my pleasure to grant her this promotion. :-)

Please extend to her your congratulations!

2) Supreme Commander's Leave

I will unfortunately be away from 22 December, 2006 until 03 January, 2007, as I will be away from my desk, with likely very limited Internet Access. In the intervening time, any issues that you have can be resolved by your division commander - General Jansen or Vice Admiral Jagged Fel.

That said, I doubt there are likely to be any urgent issues since the holiday time is one of lower general activity... However, please do keep in contact and let your commanding officers know if you are going on leave...

3) Next Galactic Empire Meeting - 06 January

The next official GE meeting is on 2007-01-06, the first Saturday of the month of January. Hopefully we will see excellent attendance as we did last meeting.

4) New Year, New Plans

In consultation with the rest of High Command, I have begun work formulating some new plans for the new year. Please keep your eyes on your inbox early in the new year for the fleet memos...


Most of all, the Galactic Empire wishes you all a safe and happy holiday season, and we hope to see you at the January 6 meeting!

So what? Senior officers often call subordinates using "Mr". Picard did it too.
And as far as I can tell, La Forge is still senior to you. ;P

I remember discussions on names and Mr. long times ago, and I still don´t like it.
Also the usage of "Mr." is clearly defined in the OM.

And, just to clear things, Picard has no authority here. :idea:
