Database Migration Completed!

To all those who have visited the GE MBs earlier today and found them down for maintenance, I am happy to report that they are back.

The database move was intended to be relatively quick, and FA Polanski was handling it. Unfortunately, some difficulties were encountered, and due to scheduling it was not possible to get them back on time.

Sadly, it appears that the total downtime was around 18 hours. However, in the future, the MB and general site access times should be much quicker, since the two are no longer sharing a single database.

In recent times, it's been reported that our site is slow - and we believe it to be a result of the MBs and main site both trying to use the one overloaded database, so this separation of the workload should result in increased performance.
