ZETA SQUADRON REPORT – 8 July 2006
"Omnia Facimus”

The phrase “Omnia Facimus” is translated as “We do it all”. It is my hope that as members of Zeta we will strive to be renaissance men who not only play our designated platform, but also seek to be a part of the larger GE community, becoming involved in many of the aspects that make up this club.

Activity: Right now my main concentration is playing as many ladder matches as I possibly can over as many different platforms (currently that means JO, but hopefully that will expand soon). I’ve also been working on some random missions from the Combat Chamber and hope to find some that I enjoy enough to recommend to the squadron. As always, you can find me on AIM and IRC chatting it up and giving our lovely command staff a headache whenever I can.

Activity: I spoke with Sheridan over AIM and IRC this past week. After discussing his current gaming situation he decided that it would be in his best interest to transfer over to the Army, where he would be more able to participate in gaming. I wish him luck and look forward to seeing him add life to the Imperial Army

Activity: When he left LT Ualtar mentioned that EF Qorl had expressed interest in the SL spot onboard Zeta. With that knowledge I approached Qorl and offered him the spot that I had recently vacated. I believe that Qorl will provide a good presence with Zeta, giving us a lift in activity and communication that is sorely needed. I have seen him on AIM and IRC over the past few days and he has taken part in some ladder matches recently.

*Medals and Promotions*

Qorl – Promoted from EF to SL and placed in the Zeta 2-1 command slot

Pressor – IVC-BL x 3, MoM for activity in the recent Guard Games and Spring Ladders. Also promoted to Guardsman of the Fourth Echelon within the Royal Guard.

*Orders*

1) Earn your BCC for all of the platforms that you own. This will allow you to participate in many more events and will open up doors for you in the future if you wish to continue with your GE career.
2) Take the Imperial Navy Officers Exam.
3) Participate in the new ladders.

*Final Thoughts*

Honestly, this was a pretty frustrating week from a command standpoint. I have attempted to contact all of you multiple times over various means, but have only made contact with two of you (Qorl and Sheridan). I hope that this will change in the near future and Zeta will come out of its slump and take a place at the lead of the pack. On the flipside, I know of a new member who should be joining us soon, and along with SL Qorl I hope that this will be a catalyst of for activity within the squadron.
