Well done again :)

Thank you. But there's something wrong - I got awarded the Bronze Leaves for the JA ladders via the DB. This says I got Gold Leaves...

First of all, I am not bugging about the results. And that because I play XWA/XvT for the following reasons:

a) sports (even despite not finding anyone that can really offer me a challenge)
b) I am a XWA squadron leader and must show an example
c) to try motivating other to play it as well

We all know that XWA/XvT is dying. It is almost a rarity to find someone that can fly it. Often one will be confronted with tech issues, conn issues or lack of will or time. Is it a surprise that participation level is low?

I had no choice than picking up Burton. And to be honest I felt rather weird because (sorry) he was an easy catch and also the *only* one willing to fly at all. And I still hoped that a little participation would motivate others to challenge more, but I was wrong on that one.

And now forget it is me who is talking, imagine I am a regular pilot, perhaps even a new one...

-I tried hard to find people, had to match timezones, stay up late, sent challenge emails. Was confronted with almost any possible type of excuse or problem from the other players or no response at all. All that not to be awarded :p
-I flew 8 matches, yet I am credited with 1 win :p
Does this motivate me to try the ladders again? :p

Again, we are talking about a dead game. I think one should adapt the awarding system accordingly or close the ladders because the participation *won´t* raise. Much to the contrary... and that ignoring the aboves mentioned points.

Note -> Whenever I win a ladder, points should go to the person who took the challenge. Flying against me can also demotivate :p

I'm having conn problems across all platforms since I'm being forced through a router right now. I at least tried to get a XWA game in, before I confirmed I had problems with that platform too.

I usually take part too.

But , yes , I do have some problems with my connection. But even if the participation level is not high. I don't think we should close the ladder. Even if we would have only 2 XWA pilots , they should have the same chances as any other GE:ER Member to win Awards.
