New Academy Prefect

I have come to a decision about the new Academy Prefect, as difficult as it was to chose between the qualified applicants.

The new Prefect is an officer who has worked with the Academy before, and I am sure his experience can be put to great use for the benefit of cadets and all officers.

It is my great pleasure to announce the newest Academy Prefect ... Commander Laithlis! He has a long and distinguished career within the GE, and I am honored to have the chance to work with him.

I want to heartily thank all applicants for applying. I was very pleased with the suggestions that some of you had, and I will be staying in contact with you all to implement some of them.

Well, I'm losing a first officer, but gaining an Academy Prefect. I suppose I can live with that. Good luck Laith!

Ah, I see. I really should have checked the board before asking whether a prefect has been found yet or not...
