Outer Sectors Chapter 15: The Storm Gets Closer

"All hands to Battlestations!!!" Boomed Commander Laithlis voice into the comm speakers.

MAR was asleep.... but in 15 seconds he was awake , dressed and running in the corridor for the turbolift that would bring him to his fighter. When he entered the turbolift , he found Phantom who wasn't done dressing up. Vik and Jamie entered behind him on a rush and almost made him fall. His other pilots were probably already in the lauching bay.

"Good day people!" MAR said with a smile.

"Didn't I told you that vacations would be short." He added.

"Well , it's about time..." Phantom was done dressing up.

"Yeah! Now's our chance to show what were made of." Jamie concluded


The turbolift doors weren't done opening when the four of them rushed on the bay to their respective fighters. MAR made a quick mental count while running and noticed all his pilots were either ready or climbing their cockpit ladders.

After a quick powerup of his fighter systems he called the bridge.

"Psi Squadron ready to take off , Nemesis."

"LT MAR , green light for take off! " Commander Laithlis answered.

MAR was surprised to hear the Commander's voice instead of the tactical officer's.

"Nemesis to all Squadrons! Rush out! Rush out!" His voice was firm.
