Name the Unit Comp!

The Army is starting a new competition! As you may have noticed, a new
Brigade is being opened in the Army, a very good sign that things are on
the up and up here in the Army. We have started two new companies, named
Viper and Ranger, our BF and JO units, respectively.

In this comp, you will be asked to submit possible names for the
soon-to-be-formed GB and JA companies. We will also take suggestions for
Viper and Ranger Companies. We would also very much appreciate mottos
for these units. We will be giving out medals to those who give names
and mottos, and more rewards to the winners of the comp! Please submit
your suggestions by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on July 19th. You will find
out whose names have been selected by the 22nd of July or so (I will be
on LOA from the 22nd of July to August 4th, BTW).

So get cracking and send in some names. Your ID Line will thank you for
it!

Just to clear it up...

All name and motto suggestions go to Major Mitchell and myself.

For now, this is an Army only comp. If there is not enough participation from the Army, we will open it to the Navy as well..

EDIT: And as for mottos: Seriously, people, come up with something interesting. No more of this 3 word poetry the Army likes so much. A good example (my old Gamma motto): "Protocol demands you be destroyed. We always stand on protocol."

Mottos can be in any format, from three word stuff to hakius and non-toilet limericks. There are also no language barriers in this comp, but don't go stealing my Che Guevara motto for Spearhead

! I also would not recommend anything metrosexual like "C'est la vie" or "Te adoro, Imperio Galactica, ahora y siempre" if you want to do something outside of the English language. I would have to smack you upside the head with my brass knuckles...
