La Forge hurried over to the front of the bridge, practically bolting across the crew pit. Darn them, Muscat was right. The convoy was too far away to catch, even with his speedy TIE Interceptors and Assault Transports. At least the Dreadnought would not get away. There was a possible source of information.
La Forge turned around. Weapons, status report! A bridge crewman called back smartly. Good, La Forge thought, everything is nice and powered up.
"Begin firing the forward ion batteries when we are in range. Turbolasers should be spared for the fighters only. Don't stop until it's deader than a nerf in sauce."
And with that, La Forge took his seat and watched the battle unfold.
