XP Pro, SP2. GeForce 4 MX 4000. Works fine for me.

Hm, weird. Doesn't work for me and I have a GeForce 4 Ultra Ti8640.

Worked fine without 3D, but if I activate 3D it crashes as soon as I start flying (Battle, Training, etc).

I had that problem. The file listed at the beginning of this topic fixed that.. I dont even need to run in compatabilty mode now... all works fine!

(XP and Radeon 9k PRO)

Well, Zwib got it to work on her laptop running 2000, but I still cannot get it to run on my machine. Blergh.

Oh well, one machine running it is more than enough. It's not really multiplayer compatible, so who cares? :P

It worked on my XP and I now of several others it has worked for as well.
Without compatibility mode.

I was able to run it fine with Windows XP and an 8800 GTS (640), which is probably the most horrific under utilization of that card lovely DX10 card to date.

From the viewpoint of what you get for your money, the 640GTS is currently the best card out there. Also, you can easily get the GPU and memory up to GTX speed, so the only differences between the two are a really small number of pipelines and the money left in your wallet.

C&C3 doesn't really demand that much from your video card, only 64mb.

No Jamie. One of the newest and biggest cards available on the market cannot handle those.

That would be a Radeon. And the 9000 family is the last generation. I think the X1000's current in Radeon-world.

We're talking about GeForces, the cards any true gamer uses.
