Our reconnaissance mission has just returned... the news is somewhat disturbing... the information gathered is being fully collated as we speak.

In the meantime, your immediate orders are to check all systems onboard all ships, and complete any outstanding scheduled maintenance as soon as possible. It appears that the Empire's War machine will be taking a more active role to deal with a new Rebel/pirate threat.

Please wait for a fleet-wide briefing once the information is collated....

Vortagh hit the button that activated the internal squad frequency on his comm link
"Commander Vortagh for all. We have received an alarming report from a scout sent out earlier. I hereby place the entire squadron on a 30 minute alert." He paused for a minute while struggling into his pilot coverall and then pressed the button again. "We've also got orders to do full system checks on our TIEs. I await everybody with his full gear in the hangar in 10 minutes. Vortagh out."
He waited for them to report in and then bent down to tie his bootlaces and then zipped his coverall. Putting on his gloves, he grabbed his helmet, survival gear, and blaster belt and ran out of his quarters to the pilot turbolifts down the hallway. Once the technicans and his people had finished throughly checking the TIE/Advanced they were flying, all they could do is wait. But wait they would indeed - like a predator awaiting its prey.

Hmm... that's a good idea, actually. I think I'd wait until I had 4 active squadrons, but maybe. Of course, it was much more fun when Falen and I were in it as Lieutenants... man, did we ever have fun.

My favourite was the blinkenlights decoration of the ENTIRE ISD inside and outside, with the constant chrismas-melodies-beeping-noise. :P

Yep, the blinky lights were a favorite of mine, too. Man, do I need to get Falen back.

And no, we HAD Ewoks. I rent them every year for Christmas time.
