TO: All Naval Officers
SUBJECT: Fleet Report, January 9, 2004
Preamble:
For those of you who have been around a long time, you might remember a series of reports by yours truly titled "Fel's Fantastic Fleet Reports" (Name was from LPMQTP, for the record.) You may also remember it's been a long time since one of them crossed anyone's desk, myself included. Now that it's 2005 and all the holidays are settled down, well, it's really time to get things going again.
To Commanding Officers:
(Officers below LT need not read this section) Now that fleet reports will be coming out on a fairly regular basis, I need to have your reports in as well. Squad leaders need to send their reports to their SCS (but can CC me as well, if they like). Ship reports need to come through as well. Every couple of weeks is sufficient for now -- I'm not going to hold everyone to a dictatorial schedule, but fairly regular reports are greatly appreciated.
Fleet News:
This section normally encompasses all of the relevant news that took place between this report and the previous one. However, in this report, that would encompass far too much information, so I've cut it down to the latest information:
- The Galactic Empire turns seven on January 10th!
- The FPR Processor is online! Anyone with XvT / TIE, you are now free to fly and receive credit for it. Even old FPRs (if you put them in) will be processed. Your superior officer just needs to log into administration and submit them.
- The Senior Fleet Officer, Line Captain Calder is away due to RL responsibilities.
- The ImperialSquadrons.net MBs are back online: http://www.imperialsquadrons.net/phpbb/
- The Navy's first Free Worlds Squadron - Zeta - opened on the ISD Chimaera. If there is an officer who can obtain his or her BCC in FW and is interested in perhaps leading Zeta squadron, please e-mail me right away.
Promotions:
This section, as you may have guessed, contains promotions within the Navy.
- Laithlis, a reserve LT, has returned from the reserves as first officer of the ISD Nemesis.
Medal Awards:
Self-explanatory, I hope.
- No recent medal awards
FPRs:
- La Forge did twenty-two.
- EN Quorl Dalon submitted two.
Reports:
Here I list whether or not reports were officially received. Of course, there is no such expectation this time around, but I'm looking for regular reports at both the squadron and ship level.
- None expected this time around.
Other notes:
Anything that doesn't fit in a previous category goes here.
Perhaps in the future I'll do something Syrtaras used to do - Gungan and Sith awards.
