New Games

I know there's been talk of adding non-SW games to boost membership, but I was wondering; has anyone considered CounterStrike?

There has been talk of adding non-SW games to the GE? I certainly hope not. I think that would ruin the atmosphere of the GE.

I would hope we never have non SW games, but I do play CS..

there has been talk about it, but as far i know it was then for games that have a sw-mod like Galactic-Conquest (a SW mod for battlefield 1942).

i also think it wouldn't be a good idea to include games that have no relation to SW.

I would hope that we even stay away from modded games. It just doesn't have the same feel.

I agree with the Commander. Although it has to be said, some "SW" games would achieve the same effect... I didn't feel that Galactic Battlegrounds was a Star Wars RTS, more an RTS with Star Wars added on.

well the idea for games with SW-Mods was born because there weren't new games that could get us recruits, but now it's a bit different.

there is SW-Galaxies, the relative-new Jedi-Academy game (don't know the exact title), and battlefront comming end of the year (or so). if we support that games there should be enough people in the huge communitys to recruit

i still hope that the new KotoR title will include multiplayer, that would be excellent
