I plan on it but it would be a while only if it had bots (My internet is very crummy, runs around 46k on average).

Note... I did have plans on having the game on the 20th, but due to my lack of free time this next week, I wont be able to get it till Friday. So, anyone who gets it before me, please keep the Fleet updated as to how it is and start recruiting!

No plans on it here. Last time that I *really* enjoyed a first-person shooter kind of game was when I played Dark Forces. Also, Battlefield 1942 itself never managed to get me interested, so Battlefront is one of those games I would only buy because it has "Star Wars" on it. Which is not a good reason to get a game - a little piece of wisdom I have recently begun to understand, thanks to SWG...

It could possibly be the best game I have ever played!!! It has strategy, and shoot-em-up stuff in it. Also, the internet mode is totally AWESOME! I got on this one game, and I kept getting killed by this one person. It has campaign modes, and an awesome conquest mode where you get to take over planets. I got it wednesday, and I played it all that night, and some of today. BTW, they say you need broadband to play, but I have a boosted dial-up, and it worked fine. When I got on larger games, though, it had lag something awful. But even the singleplayer mode is worth the 50 bucks it costs. This is a game worth getting!!!!! I am also looking for anyone on here to play it with me. I set up a challenge room on the oficers bar.

how good are the maps and have you found all of the planet control bonuses?

The maps are very good, although some get boring after a while. Probably eh, 15 maps maybe? Something went wrong, and I didn't quite finish the conquest.

I should have it by the end of this month. I am however not sure how KOTOR will interfere with it since I know that it will probably completely absorb me :p

But even if so, if BG turns to be good then I will certainly find time for a few battles.

Well, returned BF today, and made some money in the process (3 bucks :\ ). I'm just gonna wait for LA or someone else to clean up this mess before I try again.

I've considered it, and somewhere down the road I do indeed intend on getting it, but definitely not right at the moment. There are several other things that I should/need to put my money towards right now, Battlefront not being one of them. The concept does indeed seem like one I am most interested in however, and I'm looking forward to seeing a demo soon so that I may at least give it a try.
