Ahoy hoi to the gaming gurus in the GE. I'm having a hell of a time with XWA. I've got a wireless cable modem running to the router in my house and that goes outside. I've disabled the Win XP internal firewall and Norton Internet Security and while I can play multiplayer with most of my games (i.e. Battlefield 1942, Warcraft III, etc) I can't do it with XWA or SWGB. I've tried both hosting and connecting to other games but to no avail.

Any suggestions?

have you checked your router and the wireless cable modem if they have build-in firewallfunctions?

Most likely you need to forward the ports on your router to your IP. I would give you the required information right now, but it is on my HD back in Germany.
Send an email to LA techsupport, asking which ports you need to open for XWA. They will send you the link where it is explained. Either that or hope that one of the guys I gave the link to (was it Steel and Mar? Can't remember) still has it.

iÂ´ve searched the lucasarts forum a bit, and it seems that XWA also uses the direct-x connections.
