Is it dead, alive, unaccessible via the Imperial Webchat link? Does anyone still use it?

Was hoping to pop into the old chatroom and see if any of the old timers were still kicking around the cosmos, no such luck tonight though.

Starbug, long time no see :)

Channel's still there, people use the Webchat. Normally 7-8 people on #ge these days.

Can't ever seem to get the webchat working, refuses to connect at all

You're not trying to get in from behind a corporate firewall, are you? Depending on where I've tried to use it some places block access either from the Java applet or the ports.

The java applet opens up fine, and firewall should be off... might try playing round with settings on it though - ta for the hint

Hey Starbug nice to see you.
Im using the webchat lately and it seems that only connect trough oslo server for me.
Try changing the servers and try a few times each.. lazy server need a punch to get moving most of the time.

Here's a radical thought: Use a REAL IRC client. :P
