<FA_Fel> The obvious follow-up to the previous announcement is that the Fall/Winter ladders are open - this time until 2010-03-31.

<AD_JagFel> 1. Current Navy membership is 26 (+0) Officers, with 7 (-5) Cadets in the Academy.

<AD_JagFel> 2. AWOL Check
<AD_JagFel> All Naval officers have received an email regarding an AWOL Check.
<AD_JagFel> Other than this meeting log there will be no further announcements regarding the check from my office until it is complete.
<AD_JagFel> This is being done so that restructuring and roster updates that have been mentioned previously can be performed.

<AD_JagFel> 3. Transfer
<AD_JagFel> LT Fewrfreyut has transferred from the Navy to the Army to lead 2nd Brigade as a Lieutenant Colonel.
<AD_JagFel> Let us all shake our fists for taking another quality officer from the Navy, but rest assured that in the end we all serve the Empire.
<AD_JagFel> On that note, drinks are on him ;)
<AD_JagFel> A search for a replacement is on hold until the completion of the AWOL check.
<AD_JagFel> -= IDMR News =-
<AD_JagFel> A new editor with source code has been released, the X-wing Series ACT Editor.
<AD_JagFel> This program edits the backdrops used in TIE and XvT, so if you've got an image that you'd like to see in-game, for the first time in several years you're once again able to make it happen!

<AD_JagFel> Work is still progressing slowly on the cockpit editor, it currently is capable of displaying TIE95 cockpits including components and edit them in place. Importing images and save capability is up next.

<AD_JagFel> YOGEME work is also progressing slowly, right now the focus is on flight group formation display.
<AD_JagFel> Backdrops will follow shortly after, then a massive bug hunt before I slap on the 1.0 label.

<MGN_Antilies> 1. The Imperial Army consists of 14(-1) officers, 13(-2) cadets, 5(+2) companies, and 2 Brigades.

<MGN_Antilies> If any army officer can successfully recruit a new member and have him/her graduate within a timely manner, I will be awarding a MoM in addition to the automatic MoX (or variant thereof).

<MGN_Antilies> It is my solemn duty to inform you all that two of our long-serving members, ALT Ghor and CPT Chu, have resigned due to RL constrictions.
<MGN_Antilies> As commanding officers, they were excellent officers and carried out their duty to the Empire.
<MGN_Antilies> After consulting with LCL Longstreet, it is my pleasure to announce that both ALT Ghor and CPT Chu will be receiving Bronze Seals for their service and contributions to the Empire.
<MGN_Antilies> Congratulations, gentlemen, and our best wishes to you in the future.

<MGN_Antilies> As many of you know, LCL Hazledine has been AWOL for over a month now and I've had to go about seeking his replacement.
<MGN_Antilies> From a rather small pool of candidates, I've selected LT Fewrfreyut from the Imperial Navy to fill LCL Hazledine's position.
<MGN_Antilies> LT Fewrfreyut has had a relatively long and distinguished career in the Navy and I am positively certain that he will be a fine addition to the Army.
<MGN_Antilies> Please pass on your congratulations to him.

<MGN_Antilies> With the loss of LCL Halzedine, Vanguard Base has been slightly put back.
<MGN_Antilies> I personally have not spent much time on the server, which is still in the beta stages, due to RL.
<MGN_Antilies> As for SWGEmu itself, they development staff is now focusing solely on the Object Restructure and leaving the TC in its current state.
<MGN_Antilies> With the completion of the OR, we will most likely see the release of v1.0 of SWGEmu shortly thereafter.
<MGN_Antilies> I urge anyone who is interested in participating to visit the Vanguard Base site (http://army.empirereborn.net/vanguard.html) and SWGEmu.com for more information.

<LT_Fenix> PC gaming is the only good kind of gaming
<AD_JagFel> They removed dedicated server support, so they have to rely on a match-making service which has never been demoed or explained. This means no mods, no professional gaming, no clan servers, etc, etc
<LT_Qorl> I'm with jagged on this.
<LT_Fenix> oh and the N64
<AD_JagFel> They took out *leaning*. WTF. This is a must-have for tactical shooters
<AD_JagFel> MW had it. They had to make a conscious effort to remove it
<LT_Fenix> teh nintendo 64 was amazing
<AD_JagFel> No console, so you likely won't be able to record demos or change any complicated settings that every other game out there lets you edit
<LT_Qorl> And you have to install steam if I understand correctly.
<AD_JagFel> They've made the PC version completely worthless. The only thing you get from it is mouse support
<AD_JagFel> Yeah, there's an issue with Steam in there as well, so no other online service is going to sell it
<LT_Qorl> And the GE HC officialy loves steam! :P
<AD_JagFel> I use it for some things, but there's absolutely no reason MW should be required to use Steam at all
<LT_Qorl> Still not a word from 2K how I'm going to remove the spyware I got from bioshock :p
<AD_JagFel> If I had a pre-order, it would've been canceled
<LT_Qorl> Unfortunely for us no one cares about us, the mainstream audience is not even aware of this :-/
<LT_Qorl> I got a 360, but I still refuse to pay a montly fee for online play.
