<AD_JagFel> Official Rosters currently stand at 64 active Imperials, with an overall membership count of 925 officers...!

<AD_JagFel> 1) Academy Site Compromise
<AD_JagFel> The Empire's facilities are truly a high-profile target for Rebel saboteurs… This week the Academy site was attacked and its welcome / news page was defaced. I have restored a backup version of the affected pages, and everything should be in working order.
<AD_JagFel> The issue was the fault of our hosting company, and they assure us that it will not happen again. We shall monitor the situation.

<AD_JagFel> 2) Inter-Club Relations
<AD_JagFel> Some of you may know that members of the Emperor's Hammer have approached us interested in co-operative activities, such as mission creation competitions or wargames. Although we have considered their proposals carefully, so far we have been unable to find an activity we wish to participate in.
<AD_JagFel> They have successfully identified many of the problems plaguing the Imperial community, but they have not yet come up with a convincing solution… Our main concern at this time is the fact that past events have frequently turned out poorly: one side quits halfway, judging bias, min-maxing, et cetera. These problems have often made participation unenjoyable for all involved, and that is something we wish to avoid.
<AD_JagFel> We will keep in contact with the EH's representatives and those of other clubs in the hopes that we can collaborate on something. However, until we have a proposal that overcomes most of the problems of the past, we will have to decline their offers.

<AD_JagFel> 3) Ladder Reminder
<AD_JagFel> To stimulate ladder activity in some platforms that have seen a recent drop-off, for the summer ladders I have a little extra reward in mind for the winners of the following ladders, assuming at least ten matches are played in them: Empire at War, Battlefront II, X-Wing Alliance.
<AD_JagFel> I hope to be handing out awards come the October meeting!

<AD_JagFel> As per usual, the Inter-Club Training Event (ICTE) is taking place in #outerrim this afternoon.

<AD_JagFel> 5) End of the Summer
<AD_JagFel> The galactic summer is now over, and while many of you have taken vacation, it's time to get back to work. The Empire depends on the efforts of dedicated officers like yourself. As the summer draws to a close, so does commanding officers' tolerance for slacking in contact and activity… Please make sure to keep in contact with your commanding officer regularly!

<AD_JagFel> 1. Current Navy membership is 24 (-7) Officers, with 10 (+3) Cadets in the Academy.

<AD_JagFel> 2. AWOL Check results
<AD_JagFel> Only 5 officers did not check within the allowed time, three of which have already been moved to the Reserves.
<AD_JagFel> These officers, in addition to those lost in recent weeks, will require another roster overhaul and personnel movement.
<AD_JagFel> There is some discussion to be had on this subject, so do not expect changes to be immediate, although I do hope to have this completed sometime soon.

<AD_JagFel> 3. Recruitment Bonuses
<AD_JagFel> Due to the dwindling numbers, I will be awarding medals to officers that can recruit cadets and graduate them into squadrons.
<AD_JagFel> Note that this does not apply to EaW cadets, they must register as TIE, XvT or XWA.
<AD_JagFel> Awards will depend on the response, and are not limited to the Navy.

<AD_JagFel> 4. Activity Levels
<AD_JagFel> As FA Fel mentioned, it's back to school season, nap time is over. I wish to see more officers on the ImperialSquadrons message boards, which is not just for test pilots. Anyone interested in mission creation or even complaints/bugs about already released missions should stop by. If you've got ideas, we want to hear them.
<AD_JagFel> Send in more FPRs, participate in the ICTE as best you can in its given state, come to IRC, get on the MBs, etc. Make yourself seen, have fun.
<AD_JagFel> If you've got ideas for an activity, speak up! The Empire cannot survive without active officers, it's up to you to keep the Fleet alive!
<AD_JagFel> -= IDMR News =-
<AD_JagFel> A lot of re-work has been done on many of the IDMR programs (mostly YOGEME), although not yet been uploaded. Most of it is code cleanup, but items such as DLLs have been renamed as well as the possibility of minor tweaks here and there.
<AD_JagFel> These will likely be uploaded alongside YOGEME 0.9 so the new DLLs are all released at the same time.

<AD_JagFel> Much of the XWA briefing code and interface is complete, the main item right now is creating the DAT file for the briefing icons (tedious, and boring as hell).
<AD_JagFel> This is also being worked into TIE as well.

<MGN_Antilies> LCL Longstreet is now receiving applications for those interested and qualified to be Spearhead Company CO.

<MGN_Antilies> If any army officer can successfully recruit a new member and have him/her graduate within a timely manner, I will be awarding a MoM in addition to the automatic MoX (or variant thereof).
<MGN_Antilies> Please remember that the GE favors quality of its officers over quantity.
<MGN_Antilies> We'd rather have some one who takes the time to get involved and not the person who says "This is kinda cool" and then goes AWOL in a week.
