Spearhead-CO: open for applications

Gentlemen,

due to the resignation of Captain Hennings because of RL reasons I am in need of a new commanding officer for our dear Spearhead Company, the GB armoured-unit of the 1st Brigade. Having 2 LCPs in the unit it is urgent, so you have 8 days for sending me your applications; till and including the 10th.


Allowed to apply:

- Army Officers ranking/ranked CPL and above
- Navy Officers ranking/ranked EF and above
- Reserve Officers and Inactive Officers having ranked CPL/SL and above


Must (already or start to):

- use AIM and/or IRC
- use the ER Message Boards
- play or have played GB
- grade Army Officers Exam
- grade Company Leadership Exam
- grade Introduction to the GE I
- grade GB BCC
- grade GE Administration Basics I
- be able to write at least by-weekly reports


Should (already or start to):

- grade GB ACC
- grade more BCCs and ACCs of the Army
- play JO/JA/BF/BFII
- grade Introduction to the GE II
- use the ER Message Boards !

I need a reference letter from your:

- direct Commanding Officer
- if above is NOT possible from your next higher CO
- whoever you like

Important here is that you yourself ask said individuals and tell them that the referece letter MUST NOT BE SHOWN to you!

Include in your application:

- the list of people you asked for a reference
- an overview of your career with details (like service times, COs, highlights, etc.)
- what you want to do as Spearhead-CO
- what you expect of your service as Spearhead-CO
- what you expect of me in relation to your work
- what you expect from your men
- what you want/dream/plan for your own career
- any qualifications/skills you have and think to be useful



That´s all! Not too difficult, just a bit of thought and paperwork. Remember that becoming a unit´s Commanding Officer is not only an important step in your career, but also a vital and duty-loaded assignment and responsibility. The first level of true command and the key position in keeping our men alive and active. If you match or are going to match the criterions listed above and wish to get along with your career don´t hesitate and apply; all reasonable applications are treated reasonable.
