<AD_JagFel> 1) GE Bug Tracker Restored!
<AD_JagFel> You may recall that the GE Bug Tracker was disabled some time ago due to a security issue. That appears to be resolved and the bug tracker has been restored. Visit http://bugs.empirereborn.net/ to report any issues you come across!

<AD_JagFel> 2) Academy Exams in Administration
<AD_JagFel> From now on, all exams taken at the Imperial Academy will be taken using GE Administration. This replaces the webpages that were on the Academy subsite, and makes it very easy for everyone to find them. It also will help to get new cadets more familiar with Administration. This also makes it much easier for the Academy staff to add and edit exams, without requiring any HTML knowledge.
<AD_JagFel> I'm also sure that the academy staff will appreciate the fact that it is no longer possible to receive a submission without a name attached. ;-)
<AD_JagFel> Finally, a number of you reported 404 errors when submitting certain exams - while those errors have been fixed, moving the exams into administration removes the potential for that problem, so it will not be an issue in the future.

<AD_JagFel> As always, the Inter-Club Training Event (ICTE) is running in #outerrim (type /join #outerrim ). The Empire needs you to represent us and win the event! Remember that participation in ICTE earns you a pin for your Imperial Star, and a top finish can earn you the Imperial Combat Cross!

<AD_JagFel> I remind you all that the spring session of the ladders goes until the 30th of June. Additional awards are available if more than 10 matches are played on the ladders named below, and the awards increase as the number of matches goes up: Jedi Outcast, Republic Commando, and X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter.

<AD_JagFel> 3. Personal Fighters in Bridge Crews
<AD_JagFel> After being notified of several officers with fighters that were well beyond common sense, the ability to add custom fighters were removed for all Bridge Crew personnel. In time this may be reactivated with only the standard TIE as an option.
<AD_JagFel> If an officer had a personal craft which I deemed acceptable they were allowed to keep it, but TIE Defenders with "cloaks" are *not* an acceptable craft for standard officers.

<AD_JagFel> Now that the Bug Tracker is back online, please feel free to report anything you come across. I have a few items that need to be resolved, but if you see something else that needs fixing, please let us know!

<AD_JagFel> 6. Summer Activity Levels
<AD_JagFel> The summer months are traditionally a time of reduced activity; people go on vacations, tend to spend more time outside instead of by their computers, etc. If you do need to take leave of Absence, please remember to notify your CO and enter it into Admin so you aren't placed into the Reserves by mistake.
<AD_JagFel> Due to the reduced levels across the board, now is a great time to become noticed! Send in pilot files to your CO and earn points towards your Medal of Combat!

<AD_JagFel> YOGEME is progressing in XWA nicely, the interface is built and I am currently working on correctly importing XWA missions into the program.
<AD_JagFel> More values and mechanics have been uncovered in the last week or two, so this will also be the first editor to correctly implement a few features in XWA missions :)

<AD_JagFel> "To the general membership of the GE. I have been trying to press for everyone to be more active, I have tried to work to motivate by example. For such this has me rather discouraged. Each time I try to help motivate or speak out in a motivational speech, I normally get laughed at do to people who have stopped caring or do not wish to work anymore or try.
<AD_JagFel> I am upset due to people who say no one does comps anymore so why make comps. Well if you all would MAKE comps we would more likely be inclined to DO the comps. We have had many people join since me, people whose drive has not been shattered. So you all need to get off your duffs and work, and try to come up with ideas for comps, projects, etc. I spoke out against the SL proposal but I was happy, cause someone actually had a thought and worked on it.
<AD_JagFel> I am honestly sick of trying and pushing myself, I am sick of writing reports when everyone in the army only writes four line reports and that only says they checked in with email. I joined this club to participate, not lay on my back and stair at the ceiling doing absolutely nothing. Several have worked to motivate me and several have pushed to have me quit and give up.
<AD_JagFel> I will keep working, I will keep pushing myself to do work. I want to be our first Field Marshal, I want a GS, I want to be our first Dark lady of the sith, and I want to be the first Royal Guard to legitimately get Sovereign Protector without it being appointed.
<AD_JagFel> I want others to get medals and ranks alongside me, I want people to compete against. I want to have people who enjoy this club as much as me. I have things I could do. I have a stack of Xbox 360 and PS3 games going unplayed because of this club. Also when I move and am no longer on Juno Dialup I will be in the IRC room daily pushing you all to motivate. Now guys I said this before to a chorus of laughter. We are a active club when other clubs have died. Are you going to work and show the other clubs we are better? Or are you going to give up?"
