Address to the Imperial Army

Officers of the Imperial Army,

First and foremost, I wanted to thank you for your warm welcome upon my appointment as Commander of the Army. I am both honored and humbled by this selection and I will do my absolute best to serve the Army as we move forward.

Secondly, I am sad to announce that the current Master-at-Arms, Major General Tsai Branet, has decided to step down from his position and move to the reserves. General Branet’s service to the Imperial Army and to the Empire as a whole has been great and his loyalty has been unwavering. While he has decided to move on, I am pleased to present General Branet with a Silver Seal in recognition of his service and commitment during his tenure as Master-at-Arms. Congratulations, General, and my best wishes to you in the future.

With the General’s retirement, it has been decided that the Master-at-Arms position will remain closed for the foreseeable future. With that said, it appears we are in need of one, if not two, brigade commanders. It is my pleasure to promote Captain Longstreet to the rank of lieutenant colonel and give him command of the 1st Brigade. Congratulations, Colonel. Please continue your fine service to the Army.

With Colonel Longstreet’s ascension to brigade commander and in accordance with the recent AWOL check, the following transfer will go into effect immediately:

LCP Wetere / Raider P1L / 1st Brigade / Imperial Army

LCP Wetere / Spearhead P1L / 1st Brigade / Imperial Army

The following officers will be transferred to the reserves: ALT Davin Felth, LCP Marcus Aurell, LCP Cole, ALT Cyrus Defloras,LCP Solotov Yuri, LCP Dakari, and LCP Willem Wallace. This leaves 2nd Brigade understaffed, but it will remain open to allow for expansion. In regards to the 2nd Brigade commander’s position, I will be accepting applications from any interested persons. The qualifications are as follows:

Must be Able:
- To have (At least) 48 Hour E-Mail Response Time
- To have a Consistent Presence on either mIRC or other communication medium other than e-mail
- To Attend the GE IRC Meetings
- To Submit at least one monthly Brigade Report
- To compete in at least 2 multiplayer games

Must have Completed:
- Army Officers Exam
- Company Leadership Exam
- Introduction to the GE I
- Introduction to the GE II
- GE Administration I

Send your application with:
- Why you think you are qualified to be BRG-CO
- What you want to do as BRG-CO.
- What you expect of the Company-COs
- Any other qualifications/skills you have and think would be useful

Those who submit applications must realize that a 2nd BRG-CO may not be picked for a long time or until I think the 2nd Brigade is full enough to require a BRG-CO. With that in mind, anyone who wishes to apply may do so now.
