Hello, everyone!

I just joined the site last night after I stumbled upon it through the X-Wing Alliance boards at LucasForums. What you all have here is something that I would be very much interested in being a part of, and see myself having a lot of fun with it.

I'm an AVID Star Wars fan, and have always been much more interested in the Imperial Navy than those silly Rebels. I play Empire at War often, love the Star Wars d20 RPG, and am a pretty damn good pilot in all the X-wing series games(I've recently been scraping the rust off my X-Wing Alliance skills) with TIE Interceptors and TIE Avengers being my favorite craft to fly. I submitted a recruitment form last night as well, and I hope to be playing with you all soon!

Anyone who calls themselves an avid Star Wars fan and does not own Jedi Knight, Jedi Outcast, and Jedi Academy is not a true fan! However, I AM such a fan.

The question remains: on your recruitment form did you mark XWA as your platform or EaW?

I marked XWA. I much prefer flying, but I'm a pretty darn good space commander, too. I'll freely admit that I am terrible at ground battles in EaW. I seem to be terrible at all ground battles except for ones in Starcraft...

I could have forgotten to mark which game on my recruitment form, if so...whoops. I definitely mean to have my primary focus in XWA.

What do most people play?

Also, how do I get set up for the XWA ladder? I keep trying to sign up, but it says I put wrong information in somewhere.

I'm guessing it doesn't like your Authcode. Go here and type in your PIN, a temp Authcode will be emailed to you. You can change it from within Admin.

I figured it out. I don't have the BCC yet, because I haven't submitted a .plt file for XWA. I just took care of that, though.

The game played the most these days is EAW.

You shouldn't have problems finding another player on IRC. The chatroom we use is #Galactic_Empire

Which server should I use to connect to? I was having trouble connecting earlier.

EDIT: Nm, something wrong with my Trillian IRC client. I entered the web client just fine. I'll figure it out later.
