It's that time again

Officers,

Those of you who've known me for a while, know that my RL job is on a ship. Well, it's about time for me to go back to it, so on the 26th I will be returning to work.

Now, this has proven to have some effect on how quickly I get back to people. While I generally am able to check my email every day by virtue of the cellular modem I have, it sometimes takes a few days before I can deal with any large issues (lots of FPRs to submit, for example).

Likewise, every so often something will happen and it will be a day or two before I can even get on the internet to check my mail, so I urge you to be patient if that happens. I still have MSN Messenger as well, though my laptop with Vista does not like AIM.

In conclusion, while this has not had a major impact on my command (I spent more than half the time I was in command of the Striker at work) it is a consideration, and I want to make sure everyone is aware of it.

If I can be of assistance for FPRs and other CC questions while Captain Calder is away. Do not hesitate.

Of course, follow your chain of command first. If you don't get an answer a per Imperial Standards, then contact me.

I hope that between myself and Commander Jaime, there won't be any problems, but it's good to have another line of defense.
