If I may point out two small details: First of all, Fel is a Rear Admiral, not a Colonel. Secondly, Captain Calder is a Captain of the Line (CL), not a Lieutenant Commander (LC). The abbreviations are confusing, I know, but both of those points should be fixed, is possible.

Other that, it's shaping up to be an interesting work.

La Forge: Maybe it takes place in the future when, for some odd reason, Fel becomes a Colonel and Calder is demoted to Lt. Commander...? :P

Another possible explanation, at least for the "Fel problem", could be that he is not even talking about *the* Fel, but some other Fel. I mean, we have more than enough Fels hanging around, don't we? :P

Thanks for the attempted save syrt. No, I freely, but grudgingly, admit that I wrote this book with no check to see the ranks of the people I was writing about. I will change those parts when, or if, thanks to my dumb old computer, I write chapter III.

Syrt: Yeah, I think we have two, but, last I checked, one of a Rear Admiral, and one was a (Legion) Captain or something.

Dalon: Don't worry about it - just two small details. Your work as a whole is turning out to be a very interesting read.
