FRG Chinook First Officer Position Open!

Officers of the Empire:

The First Officer position aboard the FRG Chinook has opened up and I am asking for applications for those who think they can handle the responsibility, the duty, and the privilege that comes with it. The Chinook has been plagued by inactivity and my First Officer will be instrumental in curbing this tendency. Please remember that this position is available to both perspective officers within the army and the navy.

Required Abilities/Skills:
- Email response time of under 72 hours
- Weekly status reports
- Ability to work with superiors and subordinates alike to accomplish goals
- Use of either IRC or AIM communication clients
- Navy Officer Exam complete
- Moderate-heavy participation in GE events (ITCE, monthly meetings, etc)

Optional Abilities/Skills:
- Squadron Leadership Exam complete
- Email response time of under 48 hours (This is *definitely* preferred)

Applicants should review the section in the GE Officer's Manual concerning the duties of a Support Ship's First Officer in the Imperial Navy.

Applications should include, at minimum, the following:
- Name
- Current Assignment
- Any past leadership experiences (mostly looking for GE)
- Why you believe you are the best applicant for the position
- Anything else you would like the reviewing officer to know

Ah you are controlling the chinook now sir. In that case I should have relinquished my position some time ago.

After reviewing all applicants, a candidate has been choosen. As such, I have seen fit to close the application time window. Any applications recieved post-facto will be disregarded.

I would also like to offer my thanks to all those who applied for a position of authority within Systems Force 2 and the flotilla of frigates headed by the Striker.

And if you applied and were not selected, remember that there is always a time for advancement in the Galactic Empire.

Both myself and Fleet Admiral Fel were passed over the first time we applied for First Officer positions, so even the best of us have to wait sometimes!
