EAW Custom made missions

I need people to test EAW missions I will be creating.

If you are interested, e-mail me at michel-robidoux@hotmail.com and I'll send them to you for testing.

I am asking for people who can test them to find bugs and give input to improve them. You will need to send me back a mission report within 72 hours.

I will surely think about rewarding test pilots.

This is Ensign Fewrfreyut, Navigator of the FRG Tornado. Just wodering if you would still like test pilots for that EaW map. If so, I'm interested. I've made one myself, and would like to see more ideas and help the Empire in any way possible.

I am glad to hear that. I would also very much like to try your mission.

Try to come on IRC this saturday, we have a competition where we play EAW in multiplayer. 1v1 or in teams. It's really fun and you can win medals.

Imperial Relay Chat? Well, unfortunately, I can't. Every time I try to get on there, I tells me my ident is not responding, use some quote pass, which I do, and then hit connect, but nothing ever happens. Oh, the thing about my map, is that it's space, and there's no space stations. I want players to learn to rely on what they have, rather than a bunch of reinforcements. To compensate, however, both rebels and imperials have 41 capital ships, (note: I call capital ships any starship but fighters and bombers), and countless fighters. I also divided the map in half with asteroid fields, nebulas, and ion storms, so players will have to decide where they want to send their large ships, frigates and up.

Enisgn, do this:

Type "/server us.undernet.org"
Then "/join #galactic_empire"

For the ICTE: "/join #outerrim"

That should fix it

wait, this for mIRC, or the webchat that GE: ER has on their website? By the way, where do I submit my custom map to? I'd like to add it to the combat sim chamber.

My instructions were for mIRC, but the application on the site gains access to the same thing, I believe. However, I would recommend you use the mIRC application that you can download here (http://www.mirc.com/).

All simulation submissions must be sent to Wedge, the tactical coordinator (tactical@empirereborn.net)

Read over the Officer's Manuel (http://empirereborn.net/erom/) for basic information like that.

Somewhat back on the original topic: The Combat Chamber installation instructions have been updated to include install information on Empire at War custom missions.

Good Job Ensign! Submitting the missions should be a case of emailing the Tactical Coordinator with all of the necessary data (the files themselves, a name for the mission, and a brief summary/storyline)

That is a great idea.

Once I'm done with fixing the MasterTextFile of EaW it might be the next step.
