Well, I might only be an NCO, but I am still a Non Commisioned Officer.
Besides, I have seen numerous reports etc. were all members of the GE has been refered to as Officers.
Still, forgive me for my misstake.

Well in the Navy all members are officers I believe. But yes in general with armies all though NCOs are non-commissioned officers. 'Officer' would always mean a commissioned officer e.g. Lieutenant, Major , Captain etc.

Indeed Appo, the officer in GE is usally means the whole membership. But now the situation is cleared we can drop this topic.

Commissioned Officers got that email =)

He's not confused at all; he's just trying to be difficult. And in this case, I'm fairly certain it means that all Commanding and Executive Officers were given the email.

Or we can say this, it was sent to all Officer in the Army wishing to Promote someone. And because you cant make promotions Mr. Appo, you didnt get one. Forget the whole Officer part.

Anyone below JLT isn't an officer. They're a NCO or enlisted, although the GE refers to them as 'officers' in places, a holdover from when the Navy was the only division in the Empire.

Yep, congrats to your promotion Lieutenant. Do as much for your men as you do in many of the combat ladders and youÂ´ll do an excellent job!
