You can get promoted that fast in the Navy??!!!?!?!!!?!??!?!!!?
From Ensign to SL in like 2 weeks.
In the army it doesnÂ´t matter how good you are, you still wouldnÂ´get promoted that quickly.
Oh, and donÂ´t just say that he was the only one applying, because I donÂ´t think that is a good reason to promote someone.

Well LCP Appo, if position were open in the Army, you were very helpful to your direct commander, and you had the best application, you would get the position you applied for...maybe. Lets put it this way, I am the Commander of the Typhoon, i make the desicion...If i choose to promote someone within my ship i can do that, and the only way it would not get accepted is if the CoN dose not approve. He hepled me out with alot of thing in the past week, he had the best application, and i gave a 1O test to everyone who applied, he got the best score. So if Raider had a CO, and you helped him alot...and then applied (only if he opened the position) and have a very well written application that was very detailed...and because he is your direct commander, he could say ok i want him as my XO and no one else...poof...you are the XO, unless you have no experiance, no exams completed, no BCC, and so on. So if anyone wants to add on or correct me if i am worng...by all means go ahead.

There's altogether too much senseless posting and spamming, but what can you do? It's like all the junk mail I get - electronic and regular. Such is the way of things.

Not posting frequently has its pros and cons. On the one hand, when you say something people tend to take note of it. On the other, it often gets lost in the deluge of verbal diarrhea.

People donÂ´t tend to make note of PFCÂ´s and LCPÂ´s at all in my experience.
ThatÂ´s why it is sometimes neccesary to "deluge" a thread in verbal "diarrhea".
