Second Brigade BRG-CO Applications

As everyone should know by now, General Jansen has become Moff Jansen, MAA Branet has become CoA Branet and I have moved up into Branet's place. Nobody has been selected as my successor as Brigade Commander of the Second.

Needless to say, BRG-CO carries more responsibility than a Company CO or Support Ship CO does. Accordingly, I am issuing the following requirements for those who wish to apply to this position, with thanks to Colonel Longstreet for creating his BRG-XO specifications for me to steal and alter.

Allowed to apply:
- Army Officers(ALT or above)
- Navy Officers(LT or above)
- Reserve Officers(must have been a reservist for no longer then one year.)


Must not be:
- A guest of the Procurator of Justice in the past year.
- A clone.


Must use:
- IRC
- AIM
- ER Message Board
- Your games!


Must be able to:
- Attend the GE IRC Meetings.
- Reply to email within 72 hours(24 hours preferred).
- Dispatch Brigade Reports every Sunday.


Must own and play regularly one of the following:
- Jedi Outcast
- Battlefront/Battlefront II
- Galactic Battlegrounds

Why just these three? Well, because they're the platforms within the Brigade! Ideally, you would have a BCC(or even ACC) in one or two of those platforms. I started the practice of being an active gamer while also being BRG-CO - unfortunately, it seems like nobody else before me thought of it. I want this to become traditional - and it isn't tradition until it happens the second time around.


Must have completed (or are going to complete) the following exams:
- Army Officers Exam
- Company Leadership Exam
- Introduction to the GE I
- Introduction to the GE II
- GE Administration I


References must be obtained from:
Your Task Group CO or XO or above. This is your Brigade CO/XO, VSD Captain and First Officer or ISD Captain and First Officer.

As with Longstreet, I don't want bullshit. I just want someone to say "This person is qualified for the job."


Send in your application with:
- What you want to do as BRG-CO.
- What you expect of the Company-COs.
- The list of people you asked for a reference from.
- Any other qualifications/skills you have and think would be useful.

My old boots included BRG-CO, RG-CPT, Dean and IDFR Diplomat, so they won't quite have to fill my boots. Just a quarter-sized pair.
