It is a known issue that changing Avatars is presently stopped by a CrackerTracker error. Several of you have been reporting the problem to me. I have tried a few different things to resolve it but at the moment the problem remains open...

Hopefully this will be resolved in the next version of the software (unfortunately I don't know when that will be).

In the meantime I will keep you informed if I am able to sort it out myself...

Yeah, and lose the 16600+ posts and nearly four years of informal GE history? That's the reason I haven't recommended a switch to SMF. :P

but you should just turn them off so noone will make a note about the problem :)

The Problem is that the anti-cracker software of this board is just TOO tight. I provided Admiral Fel with an english translation of the debugging manual (hence why there are no such errors on IS.net :P - or at least none that I have been notified of.)

And the avatar problem is now resolved, with thanks to Vortagh for directing me to the documents that explained the steps to debug this problem, and to Burton for being the tester of the fix.
