As many of you are well aware, Wing Commander Muscat has elected to stand down from active duty effective today... In his tenure as First Officer of the Chimaera, Mr. Muscat has certainly served admirably.
It is therefore my pleasure, in conjunction with his resignation, to confer upon him the honourary rank of Captain, in acknowledgment of his command ability. It is the Empire's loss that you were unable to wear the rank in active service, Captain...
The Empire wishes you well, Mr. Muscat - and we hope to see you in uniform again sometime soon. :-)
