Firstly, I'm in the Navy and I doubt you will transfer CPL Selden, hence my point :P.
Secondly there are plenty of open positions to apply for, why don't you?

Lieutenant, that is a nice offer but at the moment I am applying for Raider XO. But Your Company will be my second choice.

Private Appo, when it comes to being qualified, my suggestion is to have the BCC for that platform, have a comleted AO Exam and Company Leadership Exam, and be atleast a LCP, and one or two merit medals. That just my view on being qualified.
