End of Outer Rim War III...

Imperial Officers & Troops:

It is my sad duty to inform you that the Imperial side (GE:ER, VE, and EH), has been eliminated from the Outer Rim War III competition. As with any campaign, there are a lot of factors that go into the success or defeat of a single side... But it is at least heartening to say that the Imperial side lost mostly due to factors beyond our control...

Still, the Imperial side has several things to be proud of, including an excellent turnout in Jedi Outcast and very good turnout in Empire at War (Space and Ground). Also under our belt is an overwhelming victory in the second engagement, removing the Sith side's feeling of invincibility...

That said, there are several factors beyond the control of our valiant troops that prevented us from doing much better. However, you have my assurance that before the Empire enters into another such engagement, these factors will be addressed...

This means, however, that you will not need to attend the ORW proceedings this weekend (which may well be the end of the competition). Until the conclusion of the campaign, the ICTE event will not resume, so for this weekend at least, all combatants are entitled to well-deserved rest and some shore leave.

Please ensure you have turned in any outstanding Imperial Star and Imperial Combat Cross requests...

With all this considered, it is my wish that all those who participated have the thanks of the Empire for standing tall and doing your duty. Well done!

I would like to use this post to also express my gratitude to all those in the GE who, despite despicable rule-exploitation and unfair "we'll do everything to win, regardless how low we can go" of certain people in other clubs, have given everything for us.
Great job - you have made me smile several times in a very evil manner.

Also, I'd like everybody to check if they have recieved the ICC (if eligible), for the whole thing went so chaotic for me that I am unsure I handed them all out.
