Outer Rim War III Award Policy

All officers should be aware that the medal award policy for the Outer Rim War is somewhat different from what we have done for ICTE.

Though the combat stretches over a period of two days (Saturday-Sunday), participation on behalf of the GE on either day or both days counts as one pin to your Imperial Star. You can simply file this under ECP reports in GE Admin (the same way you would for ICTE).

However, the Imperial Combat Cross works differently than usual, depending on whether or not the Imperial Faction wins the engagement.

If the Imperial Faction wins the engagement, the top three GE:ER combatants are awarded the Imperial Combat Cross, regardless of their placing in the overall standings. However, to be eligible, you have to have played at least three games.

If the Imperial Faction does not win (draw or loss), then GE:ER combatants will receive the Imperial Combat Cross only if they are one of the top two Imperial scorers overall. This includes the other teams on the Imperial Faction (eg. Vast Empire, Emperor's Hammer), so you have to outscore them too! As before, to be eligible, you have to have played at least three games.

In order to request your ICC, please send proof of your placing to Governor Vortagh, and he will file it in GE Administration.

Just come on IRC next weekend. From there , GE members can guide you and help you to participate in the competition.

I might be able to come and help you myself , but only sunday evening.

I have actually joined the GE before that and should have an LSM-5S by now. But due to a little vacations in the reserve and the shutting down of the "old" GE the day after I was graduating from the Academy. It only shows that I have been in the GE for 3 years.

The "Join Date" you see is the date of message boards registration, not date of joining the GE. I joined in the year 2000...
